- Model 305 Isolation Kit now uses Platinum-plated
pucks. The Platinum plating makes
for an even harder and smoother surface.
The Model 305-Platinum replaces the original
Model 305.
- The Model 1 Isolation Platform and Model
1 HD Stand
are now being assembled using the Model
305-Platinum isolation pucks &
balls.
- Isolation Platform - Paper Stone is a
new platform made from Paper Stone.
Paper Stone is made of recycled paper.
It is as hard as granite, not as brittle
as Corian, with very smooth and
hard-to-be scratched surface. It is fire, water and
chemical resistant and most importantly, very low in resonance.
According to FIm, tests show that its performance
is better than hard rock maple. It has a very clean,
articulate high and mid sound spectrum, transparency,
and good definition in soundstage.
- Isolation Platform - Signature is
a cost-no-object model. The upper
board is handcrafted in a mosaic format, utilizing
four kinds of hard wood of different resonance, including
the rare black ebony. The board is made of a combination
of different hard wood with different grain position,
glued firmly together with super glue. The strategic
positions where the three platinum pucks are located,
are of ebony cubes. A combination of different balls:
tungsten carbide, sodium nitrate ceramic and ruby balls
are used.
